Hello,

Can anyone give me some extra tips for CDO besides the usual troll dating apps? I've found a girl to my liking at CDO and might want to fly over but I need backup plans in case she flakes. Where is the red light district in CDO?

All online meetings have an average 80% no show no reply history in nearly all countries. You are willing to waste your time and money going there? Fine. This 10 years old info from me. The bars you are seeking were just north of the Plaza Divisoria (the long narrow park). North of that park runnning east-west: Cruz Taal, Gomez, and J. Are. Borja Streets. That is the bar area for girls. They had similar prices to Angeles City at that time. I was expecting lower prices but no go.

Street girls are in the north-south Don Apolinar Velez Street roughly from Gomez St at the south end up to Montalban Street. I remember all of them being on the west (left) side of the street.

CDO has bars now too. How do I know this. Common sense. Right now I am in Province: Abra. City Bangued. Bar girl price is 2500 p for 3 hours. 1st bar 9 girls (1 doable). 2nd bar 6 girls (busy drinking with customers so could not see any). 3rd bar 7 girls (no good). City of Bangued has a population of 50,000 and CDO has a population of 800,000 which is 16 times larger. But in the last 10 years they may have had a mayor that outlawed those types of bars. That simple means they are now just outside the city limits. Saw this in another city in the southern part of Luzon island but too long ago to remember which city.

Despite what WC says in his detailed post, I suggest that it is too ambitious because you have never met them in person yet.

Remember the 2 cardinal rules for living and working in the PH (from someone who has lived and worked here for 28 years).

- "if something can go wrong, it will" and,

- "for anything that you do, there is always one extra step".

There are so many moving parts in a plan like that. Too many places where rule 1 comes into play.

I suggest you fly to CDO and have fun there.

Get their exact names on their ID's and birthdates to buy the airplane tickets.

Have the girls send you a front / back pic of each of their VALID ID. Many girls don't have a valid ID. They might have no ID, or a college ID, or a Brgy ID. Phils recognizes about 13 various government valid ID's. The college ID, Brgy ID and senior ID are good for many things in Phils, but are not valid ID. Showing up at the check-in counter or security counter with a non-valid ID can get them turned away.

Not at all. However, do NOT send them money so that they can purchase the tickets. You purchase the tickets in advance on your dime, and take a screenshot of the itinerary on the website (or app) and send it to them so that they are sure there is a ticket. About 48 hours prior to the flight, you will get an email telling you to check-in online. Do it, and you will get a boarding pass for each girl. Screen-shot those and send it to the girls. You will also need to send them p1000 each for fare from her / their home to the airport (its 45 minutes van ride to the Laguindingan airport in a van from the LimKetkai Mall). Its a taxi ride from NAIA to your place, so another p400 for that. In additon to whatever financial compensation you agree to for their time, you should probably give them each an extra p1000 for their expenses going back from your place in Manila to NAIA, then the van ride and jeeps / trykes home from Laguindingan to their home. A possibility is that the girls will change their mind at the last moment and not come. You lose the advance money you sent for fare and have to live with that (the cost of doing biz). This is the reason that you don't send them p8000 each to purchase their own airfare.

When you purchase the tix online, you will have a choice: Pay less for non-refundable tix. Or pay more (about p1000) and get your money put into your online airline account (ie, Cebu Pacific), for use at a later time). You might need to make an account, it costs nothing.

Another consideration is time. As you have never met the girls before and are not sure of their personalities, you must consider how much time you want to spend with them initially. I would recommend something short, like 2 nights. If they are duds, or if they are pushy or a-holes once you meet, 3 days / 2 nights might seem like an eternity. If they are great, it might seem way too short. Either way, for luggage purchase for the airline, you will need to decide if they each should bring a carry-on bag / packpack for a few panties and a change or 2 of clothes, or a larger suitcase. The extra suitcase (checked luggage) will cost more. I usually have the girls bring a large carry-on bag and no luggage.

I'm with Go on this. Visited about a decade ago. Town full of pretty girls shopping in the malls, but not up for a roll with a foreigner. Believe that I wrote a negative report on the place at the time. Had about 20 girlie contacts from dating sites when I arrived who had agreed to meet / play, but every one of them turned out to be a dud. Only about half actually met for coffee, and none of them were of the opinion that she should come to my place (that day, or later).

There was a club called Fantastic, a gogo, but it was depressing. Girls aged 30+, one MILF, the rest were chubs / fugs. Barfine price at the time was higher than AC, and for ST only. Have a mate who lives in the area and he said (late last year) gogo prices are higher than the new AC.

Would suggest that you are making a common mistake: Traveling to a provincial girl. Travel the girl to you in a bigger city. She will appreciate that, there will be more to do, and if she craps out you have big city alternatives.

Plus it removes the biggest road block to hooking up with a provincial girl: she may be shy to meet a foreigner but she's absolutely petrified that's said meeting will be witnessed by friends, family or classmates.

CDO is a college town so it's absolutely full of gorgeous girls. That's the good news. The not so good news is that very few of them are point and shoot. I would go as far as to say I would bypass the whole town unless you planned to stay a considerable time and can commit to putting in a lot of ground work.

There are bars and clubs on Corrales Ave but these are full of groups of friends having a night out. No one is looking to make a quick buck sucking grandpa's dick.

I agree totally. I was recently scanning Seeking for California out of curiosity. The amount of whales with ugly tats and piercings wanting to be treated like a "Princess" made me want to lose my lunch. I didn't even communicate with them but I'm sure they all want $1 K per meet. So yes compared to that SEA is pure Paradise. But Angeles is losing its charm and attractiveness and there are many better options in SEA if you live in the region.

This is true. My wife lives in South Luzon, and that area was hammered for days with heavy rain. No power for days on end. Our house was lucky to escape major damage, but places just down the road were demolished and swept away. We are trying to help those we know personally as we can. Meanwhile, girls I knew before in Manila are trying to convince me their boarding house in Pasay was swept away. Help who you can, if you want, and research just to be sure you're not being take for a sap. But, personally, I would rather err on the side of being generous any day of the week.
